- Wedding: February 2005 - Shreveport, LA
Honeymoon. We went to Florida, aka Disneyworld…lol, for 2 weeks but I would’ve loved to go out of the country somewhere like Paris or Korea. The wedding is one day and the honeymoon can be however long planned so that’s where I would put my money 👍🏻

HONEYMOON! My husband and I had a tiny wedding and no regrets there. Dinner instead of reception. I dislike large groups. But I really wanted an awesome honeymoon to Hawaii and we just couldn’t afford it. I’m glad we didn’t put off getting married over it.

Elaborate honey moon. Because it lasts longer than a day and you’ll have those first memories of being married that go on for a week or two weeks, kind of like preserving a moment being the marriage. The wedding day wasn’t even 24 full hours of course! I have done both, first wedding was elaborate but honeymoon wasn’t much, second wedding was super simple but honeymoon was more elaborate. I remember the wedding day with nice memories, but the honeymoon felt like preserving the marriage memories.

Honeymoon, easy. I’d have been happy to spend less on the wedding, but have zero regrets on our $10,000 two week trip to Japan.

Honeymoon for sure! Somewhere luxury like Maldives or Fiji!

Honeymoon for sure. We honestly didn’t want a wedding so we kind of compromised with our families and had a nice dinner after the courthouse wedding to spend with family and friends. It was super affordable. My wedding set, the wedding and all the extras like my dress were super cheap so we could take a dream honeymoon.
We took 2 weeks visiting Norway and got to stay in 4 different cities. We saw Viking ships, drove a husky sled, slept in a teepee, saw the northern lights, slept in an ice hotel, etc. It was perfect. At the time we both also worked for a smaller company and my husband was an executive so we were actually able to take 2 weeks. That was March 2018. We probably won’t be able to take another vacation just the two of us for at least another year. We always end up with crappy vacation time and things we have to use our time for like cross country weddings so a vacation just the two of us is rare.

Honeymoon for sure.. and it’s exactly what we did!
super small intimate wedding/low key reception with about 20 people.
We went all out for our honeymoon, condo on the beach, luxury dinners, boating adventures. It was amazing!

I’d go with honeymoon! The wedding doesn’t have to be “elaborate” for it to be amazing. But it’s always great to be able to indulge on your first trip as newlyweds!
We had a dreamy wedding and a dreamy honeymoon!

- Wedding: May 2019 - Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress
Honeymoon! We had exactly the wedding and honeymoon we wanted, but I would have have much rather downscaled the wedding than our 2.5 weeks in Hawaii!

wedding for sure! we love to travel and while our honeymoon was wonderful, we will go on other fun trips in the future, but our wedding is a once in a lifetime experience.

Honeymoon for sure. I love our families and friends but I’d much rather go somewhere exotic and fun with fiancé than have a huge wedding but then again we are planning to elope 😂😂😂

Wedding! We try to take one nice trip every year, but our wedding will be the only time we have our (very spread out) families and friends in one place to celebrate with us.

- Wedding: June 2019 - Turkey
Honeymoon for sure! We had a big Turkish wedding with 600 + people but there’s no small wedding here. 😂 But wedding came and went in the blink of an eye. Honeymoon, on the other hand, is always in our mind. We went to Spain for 9 days and had the best time.
