I love photobooths. People can go in multiple times and it’s quicker than sitting for one caricature.

i think the caricature is an awesome idea! but i think the photobooth is less of a hassle (for people sitting AND for the artist), easier, quicker, and there are tons of props for people to use. my cousin had a photobooth and it was the biggest hit! people were in it all night long, and we got some super funny photos out of it.
I don’t like either option, but of the two I would go for photobooth.
I’ve never heard of having a caricature artist at your wedding, perhaps I live under a rock! However, as a guest I feel like I would love it! What a unique idea. I bet your guests would be talking about it for a long time after the wedding!
I like the caricature artist, but as others bees have said, it is not very practical since it takes longer to do one picture versus the photo booth can keep going and takes less time. I know you are thinking of how your guest will like it, but this is your wedding and having a photo book from the photobooth would be a nice item for your to have after your wedding.
Weddings are expensive and your guest are already getting free food and drinks as a thank you for coming to your wedding, but you have to make your decisions based on what your value the most and how to get more bang for your buck, not to impress your guest. Yes caricature artist are not as popular and there is a reason for it… its more time consuming and if it takes 15 minutes to make one picture and you have a 2 hour time slot from the artist with 100 guest, everyone will not get a chance to utilize it.
Go with the photobooth
The caricature artist is more unique but I think it would take too long
I love photobooths! You can go multiple times and with different people and it only takes a few minutes each time. I’d prefer those photos over a caricature photo because that will take longer to get done and it’s just not as fun sitting there as it is getting crazy in the photobooth!
