Personally, I wouldn’t really care. I can see how you would want the style of the rehearsal dinner to match that of the wedding. I didn’t even think of that with our rehearsal dinner. Plus, we went the traditional root. Typically the groom’s family plans and pays for the rehearsal dinner. I am also pretty thrifty and love good company, so I would opt to have good food for a good price with lots of friends of family.

Well, to be honest I told my Fiance that the rehearsal dinner was allll his. Then again, I thought I needed a compromise because he is really into camo. And that was NOT really in my wedding day vision haha. So the rehearsal dinner is totally his show. I think if you’ve both been in total agreement on the aspects of the wedding day, then try to compromise on the Rehearsal Dinner. But if you’ve had more say in the wedding day, then go ahead and let him take over.

You should talk to @ohemmag.  She said she had a nice rehersal dinner at Leona’s in Lakeview (i think) for pretty cheap.  She is very sweet and might be able to help!

She said Leona’s had a food package that was $11.95/pp and also opened a bar tab for the alcoholic beverages.
