What do you ladies think of this ring for an engagement ring?
i have a 1.25 carat to put in the center, and i like the way that the side stones accent it. but on the website it calls the it a cluster ring, which concerns me. I still want the center stone to stand out!
looking for some honest opinions!

Not really…. I think of cluster rings as a cluster.. which are the main center of the ring.

I wouldn’t call it a cluster ring, personally. I’ve always thought a cluster ring had a cluster of stones specifically in the centre instead of one large stone. I would consider this a solitaire with sidestones.

i definitely don’t see that as a cluster ring. looks like a solitaire with sidestones to me. love the setting!

Definitely a solitaire with sidestones. I suppose you could say the side stones were clustered…

Yeah, those are just side stones! The center diamond would be like 4 parts (as an example) if it were a cluster ring.
It is a very pretty ring =)

No, I wouldn’t call that a cluster ring at all, I would call it a center stone with side stone accents. I hate cluster rings and I think it’s gorgeous 🙂
ETA: looking at the description, it’s calling the ring a three-stone cluster, aka there’s the center stone and then clusters for the two ‘side stones’ to make up something like a three stone ring. So even they agree there’s a center stone and then clusters on the sides.

Yeah I’d consider a cluster as diamonds clustered together to make the look of a center stone. You have a center stone you are just getting side stone which is totally different.

Nope, not a cluster to me

I think its beautiful and definitely not what I would call a cluster. A cluster to me is a bunch of little stones in the middle.

I also would not call that a cluster ring. I think the center stone will stand out beautifully

@JenJ78: Pretty pretty! Not a cluster. When do we get to see photos of it?!
