    Toothbrushes reach down below the gumline and could get blood on them even with gentle brushing. It’s NOT the same as kissing.

    We do all the time!  No big deal.  A little hot water and/or mouthwash kills it all anyway.  Plus, you kiss them so it’s really no different in my book.

    The only person I will occasionally share a toothbrush with is my 3 year old, and that’s only when it’s super late and I’m tired of looking for hers.

    I’d have no issue with sharing a toothbrush with Darling Husband.  Honestly, I wouldn’t even think twice about it.

    @MapleMoose: Agree with your finger brush idea. I would not share a toothbrush and he wouldn’t share either! I don’t need his plaque residue floating around in my mouth. Yuck!
