This place would be bomb ass boring if it were ALL about flower arrangements, rings, and dresses. Those things suck you in, posts like MsPanda’s keep you coming back for more 😛

Click at your own discretion 🙂
No, never. I don’t care if I was single. Once you show that you’ll do that, you’re gonna have to keep doing it.
@MrsPanda99: My boss is a priest! NO NO NO!!
Okaaaaay? Wow…I’m not sure how my responses are being interpreted but there isn’t anything defensive in them. IDK who would get defensive over a website that isn’t theirs or a discussion that I they start? Man, I’m even adding smily faces! lol
I was just letting PP know that Not Wedding Related discussions are sort of a part of the community here and part of what makes this place awesome, but if you don’t appreciate them it’s easy enough to not click on them and to move on. YEEEEESH! Pardon me.
FTR, this thread is super cool and totally belongs here IMO, sweet hearts! 🙂
@MrsPanda99: OMG I almost just threw up. Definitely not my current boss for my current job – neither are that appealing.
Is he hot????? If I was single, attracted to him anyway, and this is a freaking awesome job (mega cash and opportunity) I damn sure would at least consider it.
No, no, no.
My boss is my SDad that is disgusting.but even if he weren’t the boss still wouldn’t have sex with the non related boss.
I am over 50, and times were a lot different when I was probably the same age as the woman in Question
Like that old joke…
I remember when harass was 2 words and spelled her ass.
Sexual Harassment existed, but it was just part of the world if you were a working woman.
There were all sorts of sleazy men you had to find a way to avoid with many different tactics (and my early working life in the 1970s was a lot better than the women the generation before me in the 1950s and 60s… ala Mad Men)
That isn’t to say that there wasn’t hanky panky going on in the office.
Married Men & Single Women – Bosses & Subordinates – Singles hooking up etc.
It happened.
It was only gross if one was being propositioned by someone in Authority, and you didn’t WANT to sleep with them
Unlike now, there were no clear lines
I myself had a crush on a Boss once when I was in my late teens, he would have been in his mid to late 30s, and divorced.
We hung out together, and we ended up in the sack (once)
Only once cause I think he figured out it wasn’t a wise thing to be doing for his job. Looking back now, I think he was worried we’d get caught… I know we were definitely seen out together on one occasion on a weekend date by a coworker… miles and miles from our hometown… so clearly not having “just accidently run into one another”
Besides my Daddy was a big wheel at the company (not his direct Boss… but UP there). My father never talked to me about my sexuality, but he most definitely wasn’t above pulling a guy aside to have a chat (lol, call it intimidation !!)
Thinking that may very well have happened. Not soon after, I got a promotion… and got moved to another Department. The guy kept his regular job… no harm, no foul, I suppose in that everything turned out fine career wise for both of us.
Today, he’d no doubt be in deep sh!t… maybe even fired !!
As of right now, I would never sleep with my boss b.c. I’m a waitress. And I could find another job within a week. (I’ve waitressed for 4years) and I’m damn good at my job. Maybe but probably not once I got into my career. . But I have 4 mouths to feed and if it was the only job yes, I’d probably do it…. maybe, but if I lost my job I know my fi would do everything in his power to make it work without me having to do that. so idk. But desperate needs calls for desperate measures.
If I were single and he was hot I would do it…but it would have nothing to do with money lol
There isn’t enough soap and water in the world for me to even consider it.
