I did 3 yrs ago. But, I had a horrible piece of shit diamond. I’m convinced my diamond was swapped out when it got sent out for resizing. I swapped my diamond ring for a 2.5ct fb moissanite solitaire wedding set for about $1500 at a local jewelry store and don’t regret it one bit. I got the size I wanted, the clarity and the price I wanted. I’m not big on diamonds after I got jipped years ago. All of my clear stone jewlery is moissanite. I’d never go back to diamond again

No – I am way to sentimental for that. My lovely fiancé scraped and saved and worked his heart out to get me my ring, and I could never change it simply because it’s the one he was holding when he got down on one knee. I love seeing everyone’s huge rings but I adore my .90 carat.
I’ve seen Moissy in person before and I am not a fan of the way it looks, although many people on here have some gorgeous moissanite rings.

Yes I would! I love how they sparkle, and I’d rather not spend too much on jewelry. But we were very young and went for a small diamond and I’m not planning on upgrading it, it is part of our story 🙂

No way. I have my dream ring and wouldn’t change it for the world.
Fiance designed it too so it means too much. I have great diamonds too

Nope. Step-cut moissanites look really good but I wouldn’t trade them for my asscher diamond. I love my rings and stones.

Seems like unnecessary extra effort to switch out the stones.

No way! I’m a diamond kinda girl. No other stone would make me happy for my engagement ring.

GirlyGirl24 : I wouldn’t swap my diamond, I always want to keep it, but I wouldn’t mind having an additional ring for any other finger that was a bigger moissy.

Nah. I actually wanted a moissanite first but my fiance really wanted to save up and get me a diamond. Now that I have my ring, I will never ever ever ever give it up and I wouldn’t trade it for the world. IDK what I would do if I lost it or had to get it replaced…. I might consider a moissanite again, but I think I would miss the diamond to be totally honest.

No way. I am too sentimental to get a different rings, and I love diamonds. I don’t care for moissys. I’d rather have a small, good quality diamond than a huge or even normal sized moissy. I’d rather have a plain band than moissy. I just don’t care for them.

Never !!! but i love what i have and consider myself very lucky….If price was the issue….maybe….but I doubt it. I would probably go for a beautiful coloured gem so there is no mistaking what it is and not “supposed” to be anything else, I would hate it if others thought i was trying to pass it off as a diamond….if that makes sense

No. My hubby mined a three carat flawless emerald. I’m sure that you all know how hard it is to find a flawless natural emerald.
Hetook it with him to the Tucson gem show which is where the worlds top jewelers and cutters go once a year. He met a guy who was high up in the business who traded that emerald for a flawless D colored nearly 2 Ct diamond.
Id never trade it for the world.

jcent : Yep, now my barely pink has it as well. The cloth doesn’t work for me 🙁 C&C sent me one a long time ago. Wright’s silver polish works, but it’s hard to get it around the prongs and girdle with the way my stone is set.

Nope. But I would trade for a bigger diamond center stone at some point, if I were to ever change anything. I’m all about the real deal.

I have a quad, with a halo (I know a lot of people do not care for quads but I love mine) and I would not even switch those out for one solid diamond becaus my Fiance picked it out himself and it just means to much to me. So I would not switch my diamonds out for a moinssanite. Besides my quad sparkles like no other!
