@UpstateCait:  Agreed. I can’t remember the last time I said “damn girl you look like a stripper” and meant it in a positive way. Just saying.

I don’t think I would take it as a compliment but if you weren’t letting it all hang out then certainly don’t be offended. The guy was being dumb and I am glad to see your Fiance handled it well. People are obnovious.

I think its kinda funny you asked this question, and then in another post referred to other girls you don’t even know as sluts.

@Angelz_love:  post #9 in reference to the brides friends.

It sucks when people who don’t even know you judge you based on your outfit.

Calling them slutty is exactly the same as someone saying you look like a stripper.

It depends, if he was a friend who you have joking relationship with, then I would think it was a harmless fun/ribbing.

If not, then he was douchbag and don’t pay attention to him. He’s just jealous of your Fiance for having a hot Girlfriend 🙂

I’d take it as an insult. I would never want to be compared to or called a stripper.

FIrst time we slept together my Fiance goes “Man, you have a stripper body”. I was SO UNSURE how to take it that I laughed and he was relieved I didn’t punch him. He tells me he meant it as a compliment (I have a hot body) but I wasn’t sure what exactly it was that he meant!

I say, brush it off. The guy who said it probably was insulting you but your Fiance was defending your hotness. And who matters more than FI? 🙂
