    If it were a friend or family member, I would definitely tell. Boogers are a whole other ballpark though…..I don’t think I could bring myself to say anything to my boss about that. I could probably tell him about food in his teeth though. Although, I dunno…..I would certainly want to know if it were me, but the boss is a tough one!

    Yep, I would tell my boss.  (He’s my dad, but I would still tell him if he wasn’t my dad.)  I would want someone to tell me so I would tell them!

    it’s so hard to look at someone when they have a booger in their nose.

    i was at a client’s once and they had a dry booger in their nose.  i was sitting right across the table from them with my papers, ad examples, etc spread out.  as he was looking at everything, his booger fell out of his nose and onto the papers.  i was so grossed out.  we finished everything up, he signed his contract and as i was packing up, he says, “don’t forget these papers.”  i just said, “keep them.”

    I’ve always told people (because I know I’d want to be told) and they have always appreciated it.  It’s worse to get home and wonder “how long has THAT been there?!”

    It is really easy to discreetly make someone, even a stranger, aware that they’ve got a little something that needs attention, without making them feel embarassed. Just make direct eye contact with them, then make a hand gesture that equals what they should do. Booger in nose? just mimic wiping your finger across the side of the nose. It might take a couple of repeats before they get the hint, but they will.

    I wouldn’t say anything to my boss probably.  But family / friends I would.

    I wouldn’t say anything to my boss. If it’s a constant problem, then maybe a typed note left on his chair might fix the solution! I told a male coworker that he was dragging toilet paper out of his pants, and it didn’t go well!

    @MissNoodles:  Haha!

    I wouldn’t tell my boss, but I’d tell family and friends.
