@MrsDulce:  I would not tip and write a terrible review and start complaining to the manager.

Honestly at this point I would be asking for the manager. Three hours should guarantee a discounted cut if not a free one.

I could give them a tip all right… But that wouldn’t be lady like. Innocent I’d pay for the trimming, but that would be it. 3 HOURS?! I’d be contacting the manager.

I don’t mean to be a jerk about this, but how could you possibly be okay with sitting there for 3 hours before doing something?  At this point it’s not about tipping or not… why didn’t you do something sooner?

Um, don’t tell them in advance you plan to not tip. They have your hair in your hands.

But demand to be seen immediately, in the strongest possible terms. And then don’t tip, unless the cut is worth a three hour wait.

Is it the stylist’s fault that you’ve been waiting that long?

@mightywombat:  Also agree with this.  You shouldn’t punish someone else because you refused to stand up for yourself sooner.   Know what I mean?

you’ve already waited 2+ hours longer than i would have.

if it’s your regular salon, maybe a little tip.  you don’t want your next haircut to reflect your no tip this time.
