Yes, my standard an generous rate.

Yes, but not as much as usual.

    No way.

Gosh, I’m either way too nice or crazy….I’ve waited as long (or maybe longer) and still tipped really well…I’m just a softie and can’t control myself. Lol.

However, you should NOT tip, and definitely come up another day and ask to speak to a manager about your bad service. Make sure you find out the name of the girl cutting your hair and all those that told you it would “only be a minute”.

Sorry but today is not a holiday. Even if you were getting a haircut tomorrow on Mother’s Day they chose to be open so they should still provide adequate customer service. There’s really no excuse. It sounds like you feel bad for not wanting to tip but it’s not your fault.

@MrsDulce:   I can’t not tip at all the day before mothers day.

lol, it’s not like it’s Christmas or something. But if that’s what you want to do. I can’t imagine tipping them (which in my mind is for service BEYOND the minimum/average) when you were treated that poorly. Hope they at least do a FANTASTIC job on your hair!

I’d be pissed, and I ALWAYS tip because I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, but come on now… 3 hours? I’d begrudgingly pay for the trim and never go back.

@MrsDulce:  OMG!  Gosh, you’re nice.  I hope that you can put all this behind you (after writing a strongly-worded letter and review) and enjoy your pictures tomorrow!

The only think I would be giving them is the finger.

I would have walked out and gone somewhere else, after informing the manager

You are WAY too nice. IF they don’t do it properly, they don’t deserve to get paid.
