In a milisecond. While my ring is considered substancial, I’d definitely want bigger. I said ‘yes’ to the man, my style/views will change with the ring! 🙂

My diamond belonged to my mom, she gave it to Fiance because we didn’t have a lot of money at the time and she was going to sell it, so decided to give it to him for free instead. We want to eventually upgrade the diamond to something that he picks out, but that will be much later. So in my case the ring itself is really what has the sentimental value since he picked it out on his own. Had he picked the diamond out on his own I would probably feel differently about upgrading it.

We both picked the center and remembering his ‘Wow’ will always be enough to keep that center stone we selected and only upgrade the setting.  I actually selected down from a larger stone to my current center and even he said “wow look at the way the ex-cut shows off from the larger one!”  What sealed the deal for us was he said “it’s radiant, like you.” *melts

He can be a caveman at times, but I’ll never forget moments like those.

I don’t think I would upgrade. Everyone’s situation is different though. I could understand if you had a small ring due to finances, or you hated your ring bc you didn’t get to pick it out, or you just had a bad quality diamomd/setting but for me I’m content with what I got. Unless I hit the lotto or am offered an amazing deal on a bigger diamond I just couldn’t refuse, then no upgrades for this girl.
