So chic! Love it. I’d go for embellished white.

When I first saw this thread I was like, “Bleh!” but after looking at your pictures I get why some women would choose to do that!

I love the off colour white, sequin blazer, and I love the first picture you posted. The first picture adds oompf to that dress and I love it so much!

If I went with a blazer for my wedding I’d choose something that stopped at my waist line like the off coloured white, sequin blazer and I would have sequins on it too! I might choose a blush pink though for the blazer color, or choose black since either color would work with my color scheme.

I love the idea of a white/ivory one to compliment the dress. Embellished would be a nice touch. I REALLY dislike cardigans with wedding dresses and would much prefer a blazer.

I feel like the the bolero option is under represented here.  I would choose a bolero over a cardi or wrap any day.

If you find a blazer that works with your dress and you love the look, you should go for it.  It’s a unique statement.  I like the rose gold sequined one the best.

Maybe! I like this. It may not be “blazer enough”  though.

Hmm…  I don’t know!  The pictures you posted look good though. Have you tried it out yourself?

What colours are your bridesmaids wearing? It might look good if you get something that will match them – and the white with colour could look great! I was a bridesmaid wearing white at my brother’s wedding (bride wore red) and I wore a red…not quite a blazer, it was shorter, but still had that tailored look and the contrast was beautiful!

@LadyElva:  I agree! I think a color contrast would look awesome. Like the second bride the PP posted in the blue blazer. Hot stuff.

I am not a fan of structured blazers, so I personally would choose a wrap; delicate lace shrug; or a soft, beautiful cardigan.

@miss narwhal:  this is gorgeous!! It would be perfect for a winter/fall wedding. Or even a spring one where it’s not that warm out yet.

I am a blazer freak, I have so many of them and they’re always my go-to when I don’t know what to wear. When I first saw the title of this thread I thought “no way!” but once I saw the pictures, I could see where you’re coming from. I love how stylish, chic and fun it looks… especially the sparkly ones!

The only thing I would be concerned about it how dated it could look when you look back at your pictures 20, 30 years from now. But not everyone cares about that so if it’s a look you like then go for it!

I wore one actually, I don’t have a picture though as it was near the end of the night. I would say black and embellished.
