I will be wearing Maggie Sottero Jenna, even thou its a beautiful dress but I feel its kinda outdated since its been out for 2+ years although i been totally in love with it since the minute I saw it over a year ago. Would you wear a dress that has been out for so long?

Nobody except possibly some other brides to be and recent brides will have the faintest idea how long a given gown has been on the market. This is something you can put on your list of “things I no longer need to worry about.”

Of course! If you LOVE it, wear it!

Yes. My dress didn’t come out the year I got married but I didn’t care. As long as you love the dress it doesn’t matter.
By The Way that is a gorgeous dress!

Yes! You love it, so that’s all that matters. Your guests won’t know or be thinking about whether your dress is out of date, just how beautiful you look in it!

@JessesGirl: Thxs! I know, i am totally in love with it, but was afraid it would look too familiar to guests since its been out for a long time!

I actually want to get a vintage dress from the 1950s, so of course I would wear a dress that might not be in style today.

@KCKnd2: Def something less to worry about, lol

All wedding dresses seem to follow the same basic style anyway, so I honestly wouldn’t be able to tell how long it’s been ‘out’. As long as it looks good and you’re happy wearing it, go for it! I doubt anyone else will really notice or care. Even if you buy a brand new, freshly designed dress, it’ll be a few years old when you look at your photos anyway!

The great part of having a dress that’s been out for awhile is that you can likely find it cheaper (gently used) online. 🙂

I wouldn’t worry about a dress thats been out for two years, thats hardly dated and besides these things take 6 frickin months to make. So even if your one of the first ones to order them, a new season has probably came out before you recieve it.

If you love it then you love it. I personally wouldnt have the foggiest clue whether or not a dress was “old” or not.

My dress is from the Sottero and Midgley 2008 line so..Yes, I don’t care how old it is mine was a rare gem that I found it

We’re dress twins and I LOVE Jenna as well! 🙂 Who cares if it’s been out two years….I tried on probably 30 dresses and nothing came close to how much I love my dress! Wear it with pride and love <3
