I haven’t ever seen one, but I think I might! Especially if it wasn’t too bulky/stiff. I hate hates because they mess up my hair but I’ve been known to wrap a scarf around my head when its snowing badly so my hair doesn’t get wet and frizzy… so I think I’d totally wear one 🙂

Yes, I have a couple. I never thought I’d like it until I was given one as a gift and now I’m hooked. I mostly wear it around my neck and shoulders though.

I would, and I have one that I made. Didn’t realize they were called snoods, though.

This is a snood to my childhood horse-riding self…

No…  And my boyfriend happened to look over my shoulder as I scrolled over that picture and went “What the h***?”

Even when I lived in North Dakota, this would have seemed like a bad idea.  But then, I didn’t know a single person who didn’t have messy hair in winter (if it wasn’t hats, it was wind.)

Also, I do medieval re-enactments, and a traditional snood is basically a decorative hair net.  The re-used name irks me.  That’s not a snood!

I love it!! I walk long distances to work and that snood thing might be perfect. Scarves flap around too much in the wind and sometimes I like to cover my face with my scarf (when it’s frigid outside).

PS  I like the middle snood the best.

I like what you have pictured there – but I also totally thought of those little bun nets and thought, ‘NOOOO!’ That’s actually why I clicked on the thread! I feel like there is another name for what you have pictured…

If I still lived up North I would have LOVED those.  However, living in FL it doesn’t seem too necessary.  Although I wouldn’t be surprised to see people wearing those here when it gets into the mid-60s, along with their giant puffy jackets and boots.
