(Closed) Would YOU Wear This Teal Blue Dress as a Bridesmaid?

  • poll: Would this be a good bridesmaid dress for a 25 year old's wedding?

YES! Its fun and flirty and adds style to your day with the bold color, fabric and ruffled collar!

NO! Its too trendy & over the top- even tho u'd wear it, u might look back & regret the color/design

Scrap the whole search and just let the girls wear their own blue dress choices...

i love the color but the ruffly stuff on the top is a little over the top for my taste, but as long as you love it, and the BM’s don’t pitch a fit then it dosn’t really matter right? 🙂

Teal is my favorite color too! LOL. But no, I would not wear this dress. Much too busy for me.

I love the color! I think it’s beautiful but I have to agree about the ruffles. I’m really not a fan. I think between the ruffles and deep neckline I would feel really self conscious in the first one.

That J. Crew dress is adorable though! I think if I were a Bridesmaid or Best Man I would feel much more comfortable/cute in that. 🙂

Is your affair only teal? Or is it teal and some other color? …

Also, the most flatering for all body types is a halter or strapless A line dress. Even though it is your wedding the girls will want to feel like princesses too. Dressing up is alway fun…IDC how old you are.

I think the color your going for is amazing. I originally wanted my colors to my teal and coral and ended up going with jade and hot pink.  However, the dress is just a bit too trendy, but all in all it’s your wedding so go with what makes you happy.

I 100% prefer the J.Crew dress you just posted. It goes much better with your dress, too.  I think the first style is very dated, and since your dress is so modern and beautiful, your bm dresses should follow suit.

First off, you look absolutely beautiful in your dress!!!!

But that first Bridesmaid or Best Man dress with the ruffles and the bubble hem? I never ever write on things if I don’t love them. But I just have to for this one….because it reminds me of one of the bad dresses from “27 dresses”. You’re the bride so as a Bridesmaid or Best Man I would wear it, but jeeze I would really hate it.

I think the JCrew dress is 10000000% more glam and age appropriate.

The Limited had a series of dresses in this teal and they were incredibly flattering, but that was in Fall so I’m not sure if this color is stil available, but that also might be worth a look.

I’d wear whatever the bride wanted me to wear, but I would not be happy about wearing that first dress.  The ruffles, the butt bow, the bubble hem… it’s just too much, and IMO it is very young looking.

I much prefer the blue J. Crew dress – it’s a much cleaner, more sophisticated look.

I’m personally not to crazy about the dress…don’t like all the frills and the bows but I’d wear it if the bride insists.
