I did! Fell in love with a dress that fit well on different brides, so I went for it since a bride was selling it at a great price! It only needs minor alterations, so I’m thrilled!

I did! I never even tried on any dresses :-0

i knew what silhouette looked best and that I liked, found a lace one at the price I wanted and ordered off of Preownedweddingdresses.com! I do realize that I’m the minority and got lucky though. My dress ended up absolutely perfect for me and I also had an amazing seamstress 🙂

I think it depends on your body type. For me, I’m very petite and thin and so every single sample was about 12 sizes bigger than the size I ordered. With the amount of pulling and clipping they had to do to even give me an idea of the intended shape of the gown, I felt like i wasn’t really seeing teh dress on my body anyways. What I mean is, they’d say “of course, in your size, the top will only coem down to here, these cap sleeves will be shorter, the beaded sash would end here, and the back would only come this low”. As a result, I don’t even know what my gown will ACTUALLY look like on me lol.

I agree with PP’s that you’ll just want to try on gowns with a similar style/cut, preferably from the same line you’re ordering from. That way, you can see how THEIR strapless gowns fit in the bust or their fit and flare.
