Wow that’s so cool! I would have no idea what to wear to that wedding. But I love any excuse to dress up differently than I normally do, lol.

I wonder if they paid for guest attire? Sounds crazy but my parents have this amazing picture in full on prohibition attire. They went to some party years ago where the hosts sent everyone to a costume shop in advance and paid for their rentals. How amazing would that be?

Wow, they really pulled that off well. The black and white photo is crazy, really looks like something from the 1930s

Wow, everyone looks amazing! Her guests really committed to the theme! I’m having a mid-century style wedding and I’ll be lucky if one of my BMs takes the initiative and wears gloves or a fascinator.

Thank for all the nice words, ladies! I’ll be sure to tell the bride how much the internet loves her wedding photos!

(I’m the maid of honor in apricot)

It actually wans’t a strictly themed wedding and nobody had to rent anything. The majority of our friends are really into the 1920s-50s and we all buy, sell and collect vintage. The bride and groom are particularly fond of the 1930s. Theresa LaQuey (the blonde bridesmaid next to me) is a fantastically talented cotourier from Oakland. She made our dresses from a 1930s pattern.
