… and that is exactly why I would never, ever, even if I got married 100 times would I consider an outdoor wedding.

Wow! That is so crazy! It would make one heck of a story but they look like they are just rolling with it. Good for them!

What a beautiful and scary story all at the same time. Gotta say, I love their attitude about everything. Reminds us how no matter how detailed and planned your day is, some things are just out of your control. Love that they still had fun and smiled bc they knew all that mattered wasn’t the actual wedding details but that they were married! Got to say, made for some beautiful pictures!

I’ve heard that rain is good luck. I’m sure they’ll be winning the lottery soon.

I love how happy they still were even though their wedding can be considered ‘ruined’ in a way, they look like it was still perfect. So scary and intense! Love the photography! Just beautiful!

OH my gosh, I got chills reading that and seeing those photos. That’s so nuts. I think it’s incredible how they handled it though…clearly they were just so happy to be married that they didn’t care what happened after that!

Omg. That was amazing (and terrifying!!!). I just made DH read it in bed. I’m so glad it’s a story ending with everyone safe and sound. I can’t even imagine… Man, I thought stuff went wrong at our wedding…

Oh my. I welled up reading this. I must say that these two really understand that the day is about their union and not about the party. Crazy!

Wow!  That story and photos made the hair on the back of my neck stand up!  I don’t know how they managed-so glad everyone survived!  Amazing Grace!

I’m totally crying!! But what a great story to tell their grandkids someday- and the photog did an amazing job of keeping the spirit up. Amazing.
