just wanted to share this with someone somewhere because i am quite proud of myself! Today i completed designing my menu cards, i completed designing my “wedding week itinerary” which will go in the welcome bags, i tied and curled ribbons onto all my bubbles tubes so they are ready to pack, i tied bows/ribbon onto all my sandalwood fans which will be handed out at the ceremony on the beach and so now they are ready to pack, and i burned as many Best of Bob Marley cds as i had blank cds in my apt. (i need to buy 9 more).
so much has been crossed off my list!
next i need to tackle wedding programs and attempt packing everything to make sure it all fits in my suitcase! and i still have almost 2 months to go! i am never usually this proactive with anything, but i am determined not to be a frantic stress ball the week before i leave to Jamaica!
oh! and i got down to 133.5 pounds on the scale – goal is 130lbs and first dress fitting is in 8 days!

Yay for productivity! Sounds like you’ve been busy 🙂 I’m kinda hoping that you’re having a smaller wedding otherwise I feel like you’ll never curl ribbons again in your life haha 😉

@indyJEEP: oh yes, very small wedding! 17 people total! but i had bought a pack of 48 bubble tubes and curled ribbons for all of them in case people spill or want to use more than one! but i was definitely grateful for my small wedding tonight when it came to tying ribbons – only had 20 fans, and so far i made 5 cds (9 more to go).

One quick word of advice from my hairstylist about goal weight: Take pictures of yourself when you hit it (especially of your face) and see how you look. She saw pictures of herself at her “goal weight” and actually put back on 2-3 pounds, because her face looked sunken.

@sonj818: the pictures are a good idea, however i have been at my goal weight in the past and i loved it! that’s why its my goal – because that is the weight i am happy at 🙂
