I love wrap around labels. We used them for our thank you notes, black envelopes with Kraft wrap around labels. The USPS hates them, though, and technically they’re not allowed. I used them anyway and didn’t have any mishaps. BAck to your OP, I think they can be very nice when done well. I wouldn’t use white, and I’d pick a nice type style, preferably one that matches your invitation.

@simplifiedbride– They aren’t allowed!? How did you find that out?

I agree that they can look lovely but shouldn’t just be a plain white label. You could do something like emboss the edges, a simple stick, paint the edge, or making them a coordinating color to make them a little more formal.

HAHAHA, Martha Stewart says printed labels are okay! I feel VINDICATED!

Those look pretty cool, kind of contemporary in the MS picture, but I’m sure that you can give them a different look with font/color to match your own style.

Why doesn’t the USPS allow them?

@sweetcrackers:  Lol.

Its just their silly rules, they want return addresses in the upper left corner only. Although in addition to using wrap arounds for my thank yous, i put the reurn address for the invite on the back envelope flap… And again had no issues.  https://www.usps.com/send/addressing-tips.htm?

@coffeegal85:  My envelopes were a7s, 5.25×7.25′ and the labels were about 2×8 ish I think. Be careful with Metallics, though, they only work with laser Printers, not ink jets.
