My fiance designed and printed our invitations and they are gorgeous. We want to make the wrap around mailing lables, but I don’t know where to start. Has anyone printed the addresses on cardstock and then glued them to the envelope? Do they stick? If not, where do i find the sticky labels that you just run through the printer?

I am doing these! They look so awesome, I love them!
First, I am buying full page (8.5 x 11) sticky mailing label paper from onlinelabels.com, they hare 100 sheets for $10.45, although I don’t need 100, its still a great price. I’m doing this so that way the whole label will be sticky and the corners won’t stick up once it goes through the mail.
Then I will run the sheets through the printer using the temeplete from Martha Stewart http://www.i-do-it-yourself.com/2008/09/template-wrap-around-mailing-labels/
Hope this helps! Good Luck!

I did mine a little differently than AnnieAAA. We had linen envelopes for our Save-The-Date Cards (the same will be true for our invites), and so I printed my wrap around labels on linen text weight paper in order to match the texture of the envelope. After I cut the labels out (I used a paper cutter – it went fairly quickly), then ran the labels through a xyron (the magical sticker maker). After that, we just creased the label where we wanted to wrap it around the envelope (with the backing paper still on), then removed the backing and stuck it to the envelope.
AnnieAAA’s method is much more inexpensive – the xyron is about $15, and each refill is about $7 if you buy them online on sale. For my 75 STDs I think I went through 4 refills? But based on my envelopes, i preferred the matching/matte look that I could achieve through using the linen paper.
