I think you’re suppose to use floral tape first then ribbon over it.. atleast that’s how I’m doing mine (fake flowers)

I wrapped floral tape around mine twice. And then I wrapped mine with ribbon, then used a secondary braided ribbon.

 

I added my charm on with twine, but I’m changing it out to something that will match a little better.

@laurn88:  It’s so easy! You just twist the ribbon. Here’s a video that shows how to do it. You can space it out or keep it tight, depending on the look you want:

I started at the bottom of my bouquet so it would end at the top and I just tied a little knot in the back.
