@loch_ness: Ha, that would be my Fiance name… I love it.

He could be… Simba. Orr…Tucker. No idea where that came from, it sounded cool.

@Opus:  Aww! He looks a lot like my friend’s cat, whose name is Scout.

I also have said that if I ever have a boy kitty I’d name him Butch. πŸ™‚

ETA: My cats are obsessed with paper!

He’s gorgeous! Next week we are adopting a wee fur baby as a brother/sister for Oscar cat, and I can’t wait!

Fiance and I love animals and we hope to foster once our puppy matures a bit. We are huge Cardinals fans (baseball) so we are planning on naming our pets after players. It gives us a lot of options, but still narrows it down a bit.

We named our current dog Yadi (Yadier) after the catcher Yadier Molina. We were also considering Ozzie (Ozzie Smith), Willie (Willie McGee), and Gibson (Bob Gibson) – and there are tons more to choose from. Although thinking about it now, there aren’t a lot of female names in there… oh well.

Anyway – is there something you like that you could pull names from? A movie, tv show, book, sports team? You could also do something like flowers or desserts.

He’s a cutie!

He’s adorable!  He looks kind of like a Rufus to me.  Strange, I know.

How about Scout? I’ve always liked that name!
