I have two curved bands so I had them soldered a few weeks before the wedding and just wore a stand in until then. It’s going on two years now and I’m still happy with my decision.

I have a wrap – and I didn’t get them soldered. The engagement ring was my grandma’s, and I felt uncomfortable altering it too much – and the wedding band was something we custom designed to fit around it. That said, the rings get SUPER EXTRA DIRTY very quickly. So, maybe soldering would be best.

Beautiful set! I also have two curved bands on either side.  I’m getting married in September.  I am having the jeweler make a cradle instead of soldering all of the rings together.  They are in the “shop” as we speak!

Beautiful rings! I wear a stack and take off all but the plain band to clean or work in the garden or kitchen. However, you don’t have the same option. You have very ornate bands so why not solder them? Apparently it stops ring spin.

The only con I’ve heard is the fit is much different. Some women have said that it feels too tight.

Ask your jeweller if the rings need to be adjusted to wear as one as opposed to separate bands.

I got mine soldered together but that was to get the ‘fit’ that I wanted. I wanted the bezel of my engagement ring to sit above the wedding band slightly. That being said, the sizing does seem to change a bit wearing the set together. I had to go up a half size for it to fit comfortably. I am very happy with my decision to solder them, though!

Your set is beautiful .., I sent mine for soldering and have a wrap/enchancer. I am picking up August 4th from Kay jewelers an I hoping I made the right choice . Good luck I think this choice many ladies struggle with ๐Ÿ™‚
