Need help and your expertise. I have 300 pale lilac organza chair sashes (probably nylon organza) which I dyed black and came out silver (which was intentional). I did not use hot or even warm water to dye them, so they wouldn’t shrink, etc.
Problem is, they are all wrinkly, really bad, even after coming out of the dryer on no heat.
Can these be ironed, steamed or ?????? Can I use a higher heat setting on the dryer without ruining them?
And then, are there any ideas about after they are pressed? Roll them on something, or lay them flat, so the wrinkles don’t come back until we can tie them on the chairs at the reception? It is a lot of sashes. They are 8″ x 108″ long.
A dry cleaner wants $1.50 per sash, that is not an option. Trying to save money.
