I bought like 17 yards of burlap from Burnaby Burlap & Bag and wanted to make them into table runners.
the problem is – they smell a lot – which i learend that you can solve by hanging outside in the sun for a couple of days, which I guess I will do later in the summer.
the other problem is that it’s got wrinkles & folding marks…and I don’t know if my standard iron will do? does anyone have experience getting rid of those folding marks?

Don’t wait to hang them out in the sun. Do it now so you don’t put it away with the smell.
(It’s Sept 29- there is no later summer here in Vancouver.)
I would make the runners now, It’s one of the DIY’s you can do now, then just iron them closer to your wedding date.
Burlap is easily ironed with an ordinary steam iron.

How about Downy Wrinkle Releaser? You’ll probably still have to iron them, but it will definitely smell pretty.
