That dress is lovely. I was expecting a big dress with over the top stuff on it. It’s simple but suitable for a small do and a big wedding as it’s classy. If I wore it i’m sure i’d fall in love with it. Don’t worry, it’s gorgeous on you.

before seeing the photo of your dress, i was thinking: “hmm.. did she buy a huge ball gown or a gown with sequins/beadings all over?” not that those would be “wrong” to buy, i was just trying to visualize your venue and what kind of dress could be so “wrong” to wear to it.

then, i saw the photo of your dress……. O.M.G! are you kidding me? is today April Fools?? the dress is beautiful!! you look amazing in it!! it’s nooooooot too much for a simple outdoor wedding!! i think the dress looks perfect on you!

don’t beat yourself down more. trust us here, YOUR DRESS AND YOU IN IT ARE BOTH GORGEOUS!

This may be a case of having too much to listen to other people.  For example, my mom, who knew 0 about weddings, read something that made her think I should get a short dress because I want a semi-casual wedding at night.  Everyone who’s seen my dress loves it though, and it’s not short!  I started to second guess my choice to have the GMs in vests only, but then realized, it’s my thing!  So what if they’re less dressed up than me because they’re not in tuxes!?  I don’t like tuxes!  So there!  So just make sure it’s not just reading too much obsessive wedding stuff, because it’s everywhere and can make anyone think twice about small details, not to mention the big things!  Hang in there and try to clear your mind!
