Agree – call the jeweller. They made the error they should arrange for it to be sent back and the right one sent over.

teacherbee13143 :  you can try to get them to rush it to you. Or they could make a ‘dummy’ stand in for you which he can propose with.

Worst case scenario, can he propose without a ring or buy a cheap stand in ring? Even if he hired a photographer, you can still get plenty of wonderful shots without any pix of the ring.

Just use a stand in ring for your proposal and hopefully the correct one won’t take long to arrive.

Agree with PP- get a CZ stand in. Have Darling Husband go alone and get something that he thinks is pretty- that way there will still be an element of surprise during the day. The moment and the pictures will still be beautiful!

The actual ring should have nothing to do with a proposal.  Buy a gorgeous gold band [so you can use it as a stacker later!] and send that ring back to have the order corrected.  Problem solved 😉
