quierajen:  but with a chemical pregnancy you actually do lose a child… there is no baby in the end. where with the case of a mistaken sex, there is ZERO LOSS. YEs you don’t get your fantasy of having a baby girl… but it’s not the loss of a child. hotpinkbride said NOTHING about a chemical pregnancy (you also said chemical pg was barely pg. You either are or you aren’t pg, there is no barely). We never said your feelings were invalid… just saying that how you stated them, was inconsiderate of those who have acutally lost children. Some of these women will NEVER have a biological child of their own survive. So next time you say something like that, just be a little more kind and say it’ll be an adjustment. Not that it’s like you had a child die.

I had a NIPT / Panarama test.  It’s based on DNA.  Boy.  Confirmed with ultrasound anatomy scan a few weeks later.  He’s not here yet, but I’m 99.9999999% confident it’s a boy.
