I work at a gas stations. We had to chase a pack of little boys out of the store today. They all rode up on their bikes, there was about 8 or 9 of them. When they tried to come in we told them that they had to come in in groups of 3, they couldnt all be in the store at once.
Well two of them tried to distract us by asking questions up at the register and the other one took a hawaiin punch jug and went and filled it up with pop from the fountain machine. Finally we noticed what they were doing and and they ran from the store.
A girl I was working with decided to chase them (which we’re not supposed to do.) She finally caught the one with the jug and grabbed it from him, while one of the others (that we didnt even notice was in the store till he ran out) dropped 6 candy bars that he had taken.
Turns out they’ve also been banned from the neighboring KFC, Taco Bell, Arby’s and McDonalds for doing the same thing. They also took rocks and threw them at the people in Arby’s.
Later when my bf was driving me home, they saw me get in to his car, hurried up and got in front of us, and then stopped right in front of his car. He was hitting the horn and I finally got out of the car and told them that if they were gonna ride bikes then they needed to stay out of the way or they were going to get hit by a car. Oh, and I forgot to mention that these boys looked to be from age 7-10. Yeah. Wonderful parents they must have.

Ages 7-10? Yes, blame the parents.
Next time, I’d call the police.

I dont know where these kids parents are but I would kick my kids ass if they behaved this way. Those boys are so young, I can only imagine when they go into their teenage years.

How sad! I work with the teenage equivalent of these kids, and it’s so sad to see that, right from the start, they’re lives are basically down the toilet, unless they really put in an effort to turn it around.
I’m sorry you had to deal with such shitty kids – wish you knew who the parents were so you could give them a kick up the arse!

Yikes! Call the police and use video camera footage to identify the kiddos and get the situation under control as it appears they have been causing havoc throughout the town!

We deal with crappy people all the time, but these kids seriously blew my mind. Only one of the boys came back to apologize. He was almost in tears, but my manager told him that he still wasnt allowed in the store and that his friends had ruined it for him.
One of the customers that lives around here said that she’s seen them bullying a little girl that lives on their street also. Its just disgusting. I cant believe people let their kids act like that.

@Eva Peron: I wish! Unfortunately only the manager has access to that, and she said in order to get the police involved she would have to know who the parents are since they’re under 18.

Peer pressure is pretty crazy in preteens. Hopefully it is not a phase and not really horrible parenting. Where I worked kids would come into the store and distract us by asking prices while the others took things and played with the air for the tyres. They used to cycle over across a main road to get there too. Honestly I would just be so nervous that would of them would be runover. These kids were under 7 so honestly they didn’t know any better.

Parents.. there’s way too many cases of bad pareting nowdays, kids grow up with tv and internet as their role models and stupd shows “teaching” them how to live.
Worst part is, more often than not, you might confront the parents and tell them what the kid did and they do nothing, that’s why there are so many awfull kids, cause some parents don’t care.
I’m a bit scared about this cause no matter how good you raise your kid, they can eventually mix with these rotten apples and catch some bad behaviour, and I seen way too many awfull behaviour from little kids.

My ass would’ve been on fiiiiiiiiiiiiyur, just for riding my bike into a populated area, out of the line of sight of my house… let alone riding into town to rob stores. Those kids are running a freaking criminal operation. Scary.

Unbelievable! If my child were knowingly banned from local restaurants, I wouldn’t let them leave the house for months!!!

i think the title should be “wtf is wrong with parents these days” as at that age its the parents responsibility to know where child is, what child is doing, who child is with ect

Can you call CPS for something like this? Sounds like their parents may be neglectful.

@QuietOne: Wouldnt do any good. I have no idea who they are, who the parents are or where they live.
We see kids trying to steal everyday, but this was so far beyond just stealing to me. It was insane.

@allyfally: Oh my goodness! First of all, I am so sorry that you had to deal with those little heathens. That is absolutely insane. I don’t know how kids turn out like this. I can only guess that they have massively checked out parents.
