So I just saw a preview for the new Adam Sandler movie, “That’s My Boy!”, and I am really disturbed. The plot is a 13 (!!) year old boy has sex with his teacher and has a child, flash forward 30 years the father is Adam Sandler and his adult son is Andy Samberg reuniting, etc etc.
Seriously, how could anyone think this is a “Comedy”?? The 13 year old boys are shown high fiving each other, because Obviously it is really ‘cool’ that he had sex with his ‘hot’ adult teacher.
I’m guessing people would be freaking out if it was a 13 year old girl and an adult male teacher, I dont see why a young boy makes it “appropriate”, I mean, it’s technically rape.

i know… at first i was wondering if it was based off one of those statutory rape male student/female teacher trials and was going to be a different kind of movie. then i saw adam sandler and exclaimed “oh dear god” in the theater.
ugh. clearly they have been out of movie ideas for ages.
