Long-term lurker, recently engaged, posting for the first time 🙂
I love the wtoo kennedy dress, but I’ve only tried it on in prosecco. My mom thinks it would look more bridal in ivory, but I’m having a hard time imagining it, and in the photo on the watters website it looks blindingly white. I know it would look different on a real bride. Does anyone have a picture of the kennedy dress in ivory? Or thoughts on watters ivory vs prosecco?
Here’s me in the kennedy prosecco
Here’s ivory from the website:

I love them both, sorry that’s not very helpful haha. I agree that ivory is more bridal but choose the one you love most!

I prefer the ivory. It’s more complimentary to the skirt than the prosecco. The beading is lovely, but it seems as though the dress needs to pick between embellished top or full skirt, not both. The ivory is more subtle and elegant.

I love this dress & am trying it on this weekend! I see what your mom means, but I also see what you mean. Is the 2nd picture supposed to be their ivory? I bet it doesn’t look like that in person. If they have it i’ll let you know.
my wedding isn’t going to be as “glam” so the prosecco wouldn’t really fit, but if it goes with yours, I do really love that one too.

also meant to ask — do you know how much this dress is?

I prefer the contrast of the prosecco.

Loving the prosecco (it’s unique and the contrast is so pretty).

Love the prosecco! It’s more romantic looking than the stark ivory.
(side note, is this I Do I Do bridal you’re at? :))

peachbride86 : I definitely prefer the ivory! It’s more bridal and more elegant. The other one reminds me more of a clubbing dress…sorry!

Love the proseco for an evening event, perhaps the ivory for daytime?

I vote ivory! Beautiful dress

I prefer the prosecco too, especially on you. I think the champagne gold is more flattering to your complexion than the ivory would be.

Prosecco all the way. To me, the ivory just loses its “glam” feel.

peachbride86 : hmm, I’m torn because I like the color of the prosecco more, but think that the top feels like it doesn’t go with the skirt. I don’t like the ivory top as much, but it looks much more cohesive. So I’m going to vote to “keep looking”

peachbride86 : in ivory it looks so ethereal. The other one looks… idk…tired? Just like some random sparkly top got sewn onto a beautiful flouncy skirt..
