Hi @Brooklyn,

I am having the same dillemma! I fell in love with the dress, but I was told I won’t be able to see it in Ivory before I order it and that kinda freaks me out.

Hmmm, predicament. Have you tried contacting Wtoo? Seeing if they might know a salon that has it? Or if they can send you a picture?

FWIW: I think its lovely in oatmeal and think it will be lovely in ivory.

I tried this dress on! It’s seriously pretty and unique, and the price point is great. The first boutique that carried it had it in oatmeal, and it seems they carry it in oatmeal 90% of the time. I stopped by my bridal boutique today where I bought my wedding dress, and saw it in ivory. The ivory is more white than ivory, if that makes sense. It’s not stark white, but seems like a “duller” white (for lack of a better word). It didn’t have that slightly buttery tinge of color that other ivory dresses have.

Maybe call around the shops in your area and see if they can have a sample (in ivory) delivered to them?

@Brookelyn,

I found it in ivory at a local boutique. I am going to try in on this week and will post pics afterwards πŸ™‚

@Brookelyn:  Can you purchase a half yard or yard of the ivory fabric?  I was able to do that when I purchased my gown so that we had extra fabric in case we needed it.   You may want to ask the bridal salon about this, or perhaps you could contact the vendor directly.

Hi everyone, good to meet you all.

I am new to this blog and am in exactly the same situation @brooklyn! it’s so difficult to know what it will look like in Ivory!

i’m in the UK and getting married next July and there are only two stores which hold the dress in the UK, but in oatmeal. I travelled far to try it on and it is amazing! but not in ivory!

I been researching everywhere and cannot find one anywhere!
I even tried photoshopping it to ivory but I wasnt sure what tone of Ivory it was.

@Brooklyn The store I did go to had the dress in white which was ordered by an other bride. It was really white and didn’t do the dress justice!
in fact it did put me off a bit but the vendor did recommend that I try on a different watters gown in Ivory as it would be the same colour. She did also say she prefered the dress in Ivory as it has a softer feel and isn’t as sharpe as as the white. The other Ivory dress was actually a really nice colour – a softer white.

She could get a swatch of the dress material in ivory so I am waiting for this and will post it up, as soon as I get it in the post! It will be coming from America so it may take a week but probably worth the wait!

@arianatoorani if you do have a chance to try on the dress in ivory I would love to see it too!

excited!

I actually purchased this dress in ivory.  I wont see it for a few more months but I had tried on numerous similar dresses in ivory by wtoo.  I personally do not look good in the oatmeal color due to my light skin but I am confident the ivory will look great as well.  Will post a pic as soon as it comes in.

iHi everyone,

So i had contacted watters who have sent me a picture of the dress in Ivory!
I am not sure at all wht to think now..

I’ve got olive skin and the oatmeal didn’t suit me too well.
what do you all think of it ?
@Brookelyn – hope this helps.

I think seeing the dress on someone would help a lot though

I just tried this dress on today and I think it might be the one! I was definitely thrown off by the sample color, and I think it’s really a mistake on Watters’ part to only send it to stores in a color most people won’t buy. But I guess that’s why I’m not in the bridal industry πŸ™‚

@arianatoorani- did you end up getting to try the dress in ivory? I would love to see pics as well.

@beebee83- Did you try to post a picture in your last post? I don’t think it worked, or at least I can’t see it.
