I ordered the Olivia dress by WTOO….loved it!!! It just came in about 2 weeks ago and unfortunately the stitching was completely messed up and looked very sloppy and poorly done. The owner of the shop agreed with me and sent the dress back to WTOO to be fixed. I just got word tonight that WTOO is refusing to fix it and is saying that is how the dress is supposed to look (funny the sample didn’t look like that!) and all the pictures I have seen posted online, including WTOO’s website, the stitching does not look like how mine came. Has anyone else had any problems with their Olivia dress or with WTOO/Watters in general?
Please help! 🙂

@Tribefanne: Is it something that a seamstress could fix?

I would fight it. I can’t really be any help. I’m surprised WTOO did that though just because they are know for great quality.

So sorry to hear that you’re having this problem! I haven’t had any problem with Watters (I also have a WTOO dress), and they are a pretty well-known, respectable brand, so it surprises me that they would handle it this way. Do you have any pictures of the problem? Maybe it can be fixed in alterations?

Take pictures of the stitching on the sample dress and the damaged stitching on yours. If the shop owner agrees with you that the dress does not look right, she should let you photograph the sample. Send those pictures, along with a nice and detailed letter, ALL OVER THE PLACE to every address and name you can find on their website. Random Guy at the Warehouse doesn’t have as much say as an executive, so get their attention. Visuals help big-time.
