Wow, the dresses look beautiful on you!  I especially love Emerson–it’s unique, yet timeless.  And how awesome that you got to go to the trunk show.  I had an appointment for the Watters/Wtoo trunk show at my salon, but ended up cancelling since I had already decided on my dress (Wtoo Olivia) and there was a wait list for the appointments!

Welcome to the Hive!

@FF60113:  We have similar taste! I actually went dress shopping about 5 times (3 different stores) and I’m very indecisive so each time I brought different people. Together we all decided on the Delphine but I waited for my sister to be in town to order it. And, I was planning on having the skirt taken in to be much more fitted since there is a LOT of material for an August wedding. My sisters and I went in to try the Delphine on one last time and I ordered it. It comes with a sash but the bridal store I went to didn’t have color swatches for the sash and we couldn’t find them on the Watters site either. I still submitted my order and when I got home an hour later I scoured the internet to try and find someone who had posted the color options to ensure I ordered the right one. As I did that I came across the Ava and the Renee, somehow I hadn’t seen either before. (Initially I had fallen in love with the Marisa 737 but that was a bit over budget at $2k and the Ava looked very similar.) I called the store immediately and it turns out the shop I went to had just gotten it in the day before. Since it was the same day I placed my order they said if I wanted to change it I’d have to do it that day…I went back in by myself since my sisters had left to visit our aunt already and knew the second I put the Ava on it was the best out of any I had tried on, including the Marisa. Obviously I loved the Delphine enough to order it but am so happy I changed my order, even though it ended up being a dress no one saw me in. 🙂 The airiness of the bottom, the delicate lace that isn’t the entire dress, the low back, I love everything. I am having it made into a sweetheart neckline as well just to make it perfect. I’m definitely not in love with this pic but it’s the only one I have of it. (I did just learn my dress arrived so I’ll try and take a better one when I pick it up.)

@mvalas: I also fell in love with the Ava online! I went to a store specifically to try it on (after multiple failed attempts at many different stores) and I knew it was my dress. The consultant also brought me a Marisa gown (the 815 – she didn’t show me the 737!) and I loved that one as well!  Marisa gowns are made with such exquisite fabric that I almost bought the 815 – but in the end, I ordered the Ava. I can’t wait to wear it!  You look great in it!  (I was looking for a straight across non-sweetheart neckline, so the Ava was literally my perfect dress!)

Picked up my dress! (The belt is the sample from the store so that’s still clipped and the top is pinned for sweetheart, but fits much better than the sample. Love it.)
