I get 21 points a day and here is what I ate yesterday:

  • Coffee with 1 tbsp of chocolate creamer – 1 pt
  • Parfait that consists of 1/2 cup fat free greek yogurt, 1/2 cup cut up strawberries, 1/2 chopped up banana, and 1/2 a cup of kashi go lean crunch (this is the best breakfast EVER) – 4 pt
  • A lean cuisine for lunch (eventually I’m going to have to find a new lunch, for now lean cuisines work though) – 6 pt
  • Pre-sliced apples with caramel (I get this at Walmart) – 2 pt
  • Weight Watchers Baked Beef Ziti (great recipe, if you have e-tools look it up, it’s a great, easy meal) – 1 serving is 5 pt
  • Weight Watchers Chocolate Ice Cream Bar – 2 pt
  • The other half of my banana from my breakfast parfait – 1 pt

I drink 1 cup of coffee every day, I’ve been eating that parfait almost every week day though I have changed up the fruit occasionally, I always have lean cuisines for lunch during the week, I almost always have the apples with caramel for my afternoon snack, hahaha.  Basically the only thing that changes day to day is what kind of lean cuisine (and they do have different point values), dinner, and my other snack (like the ice cream bar).  On the weekends I do have a lot more variety though because I have time to make a more interesting breakfast/lunch.

I get 28 points a day.

Breakfast: 3 egg whites scrambled with broccoli (2pts); english muffin or wrap (1pt); salsa or hot sauce (0pt)

Mid-morning snack: peach (1pt) (usually fruit worth 1-2 pts depending on size.)

Lunch: WW Smart Ones chicken and cheese quesadilla (4pts)  (Usually a microwave meal or leftovers worth 4-6 pts)

Mid-afternoon snack: Orange (1pt)

Dinner: Tonight? turkey taco leftovers. Seasoned ground turkey (4pts); tortilla (1pt); spinach (0pt); salsa (0pt); fat free shredded cheddar cheese (1pt).

Dessert: Blue Bell Banana Pudding Ice cream (4 pts); fat free whipped topping (0pt)

I will probably end up having 2 tacos at dinner tonight (each taco is 6pts for a total of 12 pts for dinner). Quite honestly, I have trouble eating all of my points. I find that my eating habits have me down around 21-23 points for a given day. However, it is EXTREMELY important to eat all of your daily points. Hence why I indulge with the full fat ice cream! lol If I am still low I might have a glass of milk (2pts) to round out the night.

ETA: If you are looking for new ideas, check out skinnytaste.com. Her recipes are AMAZING. I usually find something off of her website to make for dinner and it will serve PenguinGuy and I for dinner for 2 nights plus me for lunch for 2-3 days! Very yummy.

I get 23 points a day.

Today’s menu

1 cup nf plain yogurt with splenda, 1 cup mixed berries, 1/2 cup kashi go lean crunch, 4 black coffee

Medium banana, 1.5

smoked turky on sandwich thin, 2 salad with lite dressing, 1  apple, 1

1 fun sized peanutbutter cup (oops), 2   cliff kidz zbar, 2

tortellini soup with tomatoes, spinach and fresh parm, 7   bagel thin with laughing cow wedge, 2

Total 22.5

Two cups of yerba mata tea with Splenda: 0

I serving of low-sugar Quaker Oats oatmeal: 2

Snack:

One Del Monte fruit cup, no sugar added: 1

Lunch:

One small salad with spring mix, grape tomatoes, cucumbers and red onion: 0

2 tbsp dressing: 0

Turkey wrap (lo-carb wrap from La Tortilla Factory (0 points), 4 slices 97% fat free turkey (2 pts), 1 tbsp honey mustard (0 points), red onion, arugula, grape tomatoes, sprouts): 3

Snack

One apple: 1

One fat-free vanilla Greek yogurt: 2

Dinner:

Small chicken breast, grilled: 3

Mixture of black beans, corn, red pepper, red onion, scallions, cilantro, and Mexican Spices: 4

Snack:

3 Barry’s French Twists (chocolate chip): 4

That was only 21. I should’ve eaten 2 additional points. Oh, well.

And here’s what I’ve eaten today so far.

Oatmeal, same kind as yesterday (2)

Salad and dressing, same kind as yesterday (0)

Smart Ones Shrimp Marinara (3)

1 cup spaghetti squash cooked w/ tomatoes, zucchini and garlic (0)

Fat free Greek yogurt, same kind as yesterday (2)

That’s only 7 points so far. I’m having a kind of big dinner tonight (a healthy one, but it’ll probably be 10 points or more, and I usuall keep my dinners at around 7-8 points).

Here is what I eat pretty much everyday (I need new ideas too, lol!):

Breakfast: Whole wheat english muffin with natural PB (4 pts)

Mid-morning snack: 100 calorie Fibre 1 bar (1 pt), 1 fat-free yogurt (1 pt) = 2 pts

Lunch: Big salal, baby spinach, grape tomatoes, carrot, red pepper, cranberries (1), croutons (1), and pecans (2) = 4 pts

Mid-afternoon snack: 1 banana (2) and 1 cup of grapes (1) = 3 pts.

Supper: 1 cup of homemade turkey chili (4), 1 english muffin with butter (4) = 8 pts.

Snack: 4 simple pleasures cookies (2), 1 cheese string (1) = 3pts

For a grand total of… 24 pts!

Today I had:

  • Rigatoni Lean Cuisine – 4
  • Sliced apple with caramel – 2
  • 1 Serving of the “Cajun Crawfish” recipe from WW – 2
  • 1/2 serving of brown rice – 1
  • WW recipe apple turnover (yummy yum yum) – 3

So that leaves me with 4 points, I’ll probably eat 1/2 a banana (1 point) and a cup and a half of light chocolate soy milk (3 points)

Breakfast: low fat whole grain waffles (2 pts)

Lunch: Matzah ball soup (4 pts. for yolk free egg noodles, 1 pt. for chicken, 2 pts. for two matzah balls, carrots and onions 0 pts, total of 7 points) Two pieces of challah with raisons (4 pts.)

Dinner: Soup again. I made a huge batch so I need to eat it. But I’m out of bread so that will be 7 points.

I have one more point left for something sweet.
