Please do not get medical advice over the Internet. Go and see another doctor.

Could you try another doctor’s surgery? I really think you need further medical advice. I really hope you can get through this and enjoy your wedding day. I have had panic attacks and anxiety before and I understand how difficult they are. Take care x

juliee:  You do not want to take too much and be unable to function.  On your wedding day wear lavender oil. It is very calming. See if you can get in to see another doctor.

Dont take more than what your md prescribed especially without knowing how it will make you feel! We dispense Xanax in much higher doses (2mg) etc. But I’d hate for you to hardly remember your wedding or feel hazy/dazed. Good Luck!

I would take 2 of the prescription I have now, like today, as a trial run.

if it was me (not a doctor!!!! just another person with anxiety) I would take my small normal dose in the morning and then take another half or so as needed (up to another 2 pills total) if you feel like you need it later in the day but start off small and add as needed vs taking a bunch just in case

remember alcohol can really affect xanax so be careful mixing them especially if you have never done it before  – even ONE glass of champagne can be enough to make you a bit crazy (I know it makes me a bit rowdy/fighty which is not the attitude you probably want at your wedding)
