Woah, I would not do that! I take xanax to fly and it makes me really groggy and forgetful, like I’m drunk. Why would you want to spend your wedding day like that? Definitely do not drink if you take xanax, but you really shouldn’t need it. If you are that anxious, maybe something is wrong…?

Nope, I had them on me just in case, but I was so revved up with adrenaline I didn’t need anything.  I felt great, and you may too.. trust me.. I thought I was going to pass out walking down the aisle, but I couldn’t take the smile off my face.

Hmmm, well I guess if you just take a small dose. I take like 0.125-0.25 mg to fly and I definitely wouldn’t want to take that much on my wedding day. It lasts about 4-6 hours but it is a central nervous system depressant just like alcohol so don’t mix them! You could just have a small glass of champagne an hour before the ceremony or something?

You’ve seen Sixteen Candles, right? No downers on your wedding day!

I will have mine with, but I don’t know if I will take it. I don’t remember my dosage, but it’s low and if I’m really having anxiety I need to take 2-3 to even calm down so 1 for me prior to the ceremony wouldn’t have a huge affect.
