That or add a belly band over your pants. Or Just use a hair tie to loop your button throught the button hole and back and wear long shirts.

Oh man, I hate you for this question, LOL!

Can you do the rubber-band thing? You just loop the rubber-band in through the button-hole and around the snap and voila! you bought yourself another extra inch.

cooperlove:  I so feel your pain! I found out Motherhood and a lot of other places don’t even sell xs which drives me nuts! Like are petite women not allowed to get pregnant now??

So far, I’ve found old navy and gap to have a decent selection in small sizes (online only of course) but I’m still struggling to find petite pants becuase I hate hemming, I’m waiting on a gap order to arrive any day now so we’ll see how they fit. The side ruched t-shirts and tanks from old navy fit pretty well after a trip through the dryer and still leave plenty of room to grow though! Of course A pea in a Pod has a great selection of high end jeans in all sizes but who is willing to drop $225 on a pair of jeans we can only wear for 6 more months?!

ASOS and H&M look like they carry a decent selecton of XS but I havent put in an order yet so they jury is still out on their sizing.

I’d try leggings or a belly band/rubber band for as long as possible. I feel your pain!  I’m 5’1″ and was about 90 lbs pre-pregnancy.  I’m at 34 weeks now and am at 125 lbs.  All of my maternity clothes are from either Target or Motherhood Maternity (I buy everything in XS sizes). My pants are definitely baggy in the crotch,  butt and leg areas. .. So much so that hubby teases me about my mom jeans.

I am not a size XS, but I think Loft’s maternity stuff is really nicely sized, and the pants aren’t too stretchy/baggy. Plus I know they have petite sizes too!

I got all of my XS maternity clothes from Old Navy and Target. They were pretty inexpensive and served the job for the 6 months I needed them!

cooperlove:  LOL I am soooo glad our baby will be here bare in May before it gets to be shorts weather!  Hmm.  I have three pairs of leggings from Motherhood Maternity. just checked,  and they’re one size fits all.  I’ve been wearing them since November and they’ve grown with me.  I guess you could say they are high-waisted.  They have a panel similar to maternity pants.  They aren’t baggy on my very skinny legs,  so I like them a lot.

Old navy had XS but even that was pretty big on me, and I’m definitely showing! I’ve just been wearing regular leggings and my jeans with the button open. Lol. Going back to try on more clothes next week because I’ve grown a bit.

cooperlove:  I am petite and wear an xsmall to a small depending on the brand. Honestly, it is annoying early on in pregnancy (espcially if you are still trying to hide it) because everything is super baggy. However, by 3rd trimester, none of my maternity shirts are fitting and I gained the exact amount of recommended weight. The ones that do fit are not necessarily super comfortable to wear. I had to buy all new maternity shirts. Same thing happened to 2 friends. I would size up just in case.
