Do you wear dresses? I’ve decided to skip maternity pants, as I’m constantly yanking my pants up either with the elastic band or the belly band. I bought a couple of non-maternity dresses from Loft and TJ Maxx that I think will easily get me through the second trimester.

I never bought maternity clothes. I’m an xs too so my usual leggings are super stretchy and still fit even as i got bigger into my third trimester. If anything I did get some high waist leggings. Target has good ones but I mostly wear stretchy tank tunics and dresses anyway so they still fit well when I got big. As for work pants I just did the hair tie rubber band thing. I could see how that gets uncomfortable if you sit mostly for work but Im always on my feet so they worked.

just find stretchy clothes that can grow with you and still be wearable when you’re not pregnant. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on clothes I was only foing to wear a few months.

I’m not as little as you are but before I was showing I just used a belly band. I left my jeans unzipped, pulled on the band and called it a day.

Try the Gap ponte knit leggings – they have (fake) pockets and look more like real pants than leggings.

I’m the same, I’ve ordered a few things off asos.com. They have a really good selection of xs.

How about Thyme Maternity? They have XS and XXS sizes.

I’m not nearly as small as you but I do wear a size small in clothing and even then pretty much everything maternity was pretty big on me until I was at least 5 months.

Kohl’s had leggings that worked really well for me for 1st-early 2nd trimester. I think they were the Sonoma brand? I got them in my regular size.

Old navy have a good selection of petite and target, not maternity but the small/xsmall non maternity sizes. Forever 21 for maxi dresses and such.

H&M is where I’ve had the best luck with small sizing!

I got xs petite work pants from motherhood and jeans from gap (they go down to 00 short). I’m still struggling on finding tops for work. Old navy was my only luck so far. XS tops from loft were huge on me and very few other places have xs. Good luck!

And to the ladies suggesting the rubberbands, that only works for so long and gets uncomfortable. It’s really annoying not to be able to find clothes that are small enough when you already feel fat and frumpy. Dressing in clothes that are too big only makes it look worse.

I had really good luck with JCrew maternity jeans/shorts and Gap for everything else! Belly bands helped fill in the gaps before I really “needed” maternity pants. For the warmer months I wore a lot of non-maternity shift and maxi dresses!
