I plan on wearing cowboy boots with my dress (if that day ever comes lol!) so I say go for it.  I am a texas gal though, so boots are always appropriate for everything! :p

Do it! I’m wearing hiking boots. Haven’t started dress shopping, but have picked out the shoes, and I love them!

The front looks floorlength or a little above, will you be able to sneak a peak at your boots or will they be covered regardless?

whats your venue and theme like?

If you know how to properly clean them for pics then why the heck not?! you go cowgirl! Your right…..its colorado 😉

I’m wearing cowboy boots to my Texas wedding next year. And I wore the same boots to my friend’s wedding in Colorado last month. Go for it!

I have been considering this same thing!! I love cowboy boots, I am most comfortable in them, they don’t hurt my feet, and they are just “me”. People I have talked to are kind of iffy about it, but I have always loved the idea.. I’m getting married in a church, so I’m wearing heels for the ceremony, but my reception is on an old dairy farm, a beautiful, rustic, super-countryside place where it would fit perfectly, so I’m pretty sure that I’m just going to go for it and who cares what others think! So I say that if it’s you, and you love the idea, then go for it!

The reality is that for most brides the shoes(or boots in this case) are never seen except for those deliberate lifts of the hem for pictures.

Your dress seems to just skim the  floor in the front so the tips of your boots may be seen when you are walking, but if you want to wear them, I say go ahead.

I’ll be wearing my old broken in cowboy boots when I get married, and my bridesmaids will be as well.

I think it will be a great surprise for your groom. Just remember to take small steps so your boots don’t lift up the front of your dress.
