Finally finished them last night. The birdcage veil was done weeks ago but I was uninspired for the fascinator. I wanted something that made a statement while remaining classy. And yesterday I saw this tutorial on making fabric roses and got inspired to try it.
It was also an inexpensive project. The netting cost me 5$ and I used ribbons I already had to make the roses.
So there is it:
And the fascinator on its own (please excuse the messy rat’s nest that is my hair – I’m so overdue to see my hairdresser!)
Any Bees who want to share thei veil/fascinator? DIY or bought.

@LilacViolet: Thanks. Two of the flowers were made with ribbons and one of them was made with a long strip of organza.
@LizzieMo: I used 60″ in length and 1 1/2″ wide ribbons. My first trial was with an 1″ wide ribbon and the flower was not as big, even though I used 60″ in length. Hope this helps.

great job!! i made my birdcage as well. very easy and inexpensive diy project. i was going to take the veil off after the ceremony and leave the flower but totally forgot. it was that comfortable.
