Lol! After a night out at the hunny’s company Christmas party (a couple or few drinks included) I come home, take my ring off to put it away and I dropped it. I searched for a while but couldn’t find it. I didn’t worry too much because I dropped it in the bathroom and knew hadn’t gone down the drain. When I still couldn’t find it the next morning, I started to panick. A couple of days later, I realized there’s a tiny hole underneath the bathroom cabinets and behind the baseboard. Apparently when I dropped it, the ring bounced on the bathroom rug in just the perfect way to ‘jump’ into that hole. I had to use a candle (hence the red candle wax) and a dental mirror to actually SEE it in there! But I couldn’t get it out. Finally (this happened at the beginning of December!) I just decided screw it…and cut a hole in the baseboard! Just did it tonite! Yay!

@betty_spaghetti: It was indeed an exercise in patience…I spent many hours trying to fish it out without taking a saw to the cabintry. We just bought the place 18 months ago..it seemed ashame to cut holes in it so soon!
