I am pretty sure that picking the wedding favors has been the most difficult part of wedding planning (no complaints here). Fiance and I toyed with so many ideas- we finally just settled on one we love… so I’d thought I’d throw it out to hive for opinions. A raspberry hard apple cider. It comes from our favorite apple orchard that we go to annually. The bottles are very pretty. My thinking is, if someone doesn’t like hard cider then they can aways give it away (there wont be a custom label on it, just a plain ribbon). Only 6 guests are under 21, they’ll get sparkling cider. We picked the raspberry flavor because we have a summer wedding and the plain apple flavor seems too “fall” + the raspberry tastes amazing.

I’d rather have the sparkling cider, but I don’t drink. However, if most of your guests do drink I think this could be a really great favor.

housebee: for the people I know who don’t drink (because they prefer not to) I plan on giving sparkling cider. I just know of a few off hand who don’t. I will also have some sparkling cider back ups if anyone surprises me with their choice.

I would love it! I think I would just have extra sparkling cider available, just in case someone doesn’t drink and you don’t know or something. But sounds really great to me!

Cool idea, but I don’t drink so the guest next to me would go home with two bottles (great for them!).
