Ah! I worked at the Colorado Renaissance Festival for a few years and the weddings are always fantastic. I 100% recommend it, they’re honestly so much fun. I would go more casual though — like you said, you will definitely get dirty (you should see my clothing when I go home — and I won’t even mention my poor feet at the end of a season), so I wouldn’t get a dress you’re super attached to or anything. 

Don’t do Love and Romance weekend if you can avoid it though — it’s so overrun with vow renewals that it almost takes away from each individual one.
