It is very common.  You will need an OTC treatment package, the 7 day kind, and you may need to do it for a few weeks.  It can be hard to get rid of in pregnancy.  Also, stop eating sugar and increase your probiotics.

I had one 4 days before I was induced. I went to the doctor since I wasn’t sure if that’s what it was. They told me to use the otc cream and that took care of it.

Never bled with a yeast infection but it burned a lot that first night and second for me. I’d definitely still call and ask just to make sure

Just got over one caused by antibiotics. Horrible thing to have pregnant. Use the over the counter creams (I was told by the doctor not the tablets) im allergic to them so had to hunt down a natural cream as all the natural remedies don’t work! Hope it clears up for you.

thefuturemrsD :  I hope you can get a handle on it!  I had this on one of my pregnancies and it took about 3 weeks for me to get rid of it.  My midwives said in pregnancy it is just harder to treat, so don’t be afriad to treat it for lnger if you feel like you need to.

thefuturemrsD :  they really do when your pregnant it just feels 10x worse especially in that area. I had the antibiotics because I had pneumonia so I was 34 weeks pregnant with pneumonia and a yeast infection. I wanted to curl in to a ball and cry, I even said to my husband I want a c section because I can’t cope with anything else down there! Slight over reaction as it’s all better now and I’m due in 11 days. I don’t know what country your in I’m in the uk but I used a product called multi-gyn active gel. It’s a natural gel that’s safe in pregnancy and really soothing to the whole area. I wouldn’t have survived that yeast infection without it.

thefuturemrsD :  good luck!  Pregnancy is not for the weak, lol.  Or anyoine that likes dignity.  But this thread has reminded me to take more probiotocs.
