I think yellow, pink and a dark ivory/champaigne would be really pretty together and a great way to remember your grandpa :).

I actually think pink and yellow can be very pretty together.  You may want to incorporate a champagne and white to even out the tones, but definitely doable.  If you go to google and type in pink and yellow under images, I bet some great combinations will come up.

I think its a wonderful idea.  ๐Ÿ™‚

I love the look of a daffodil bouquet!!! Your girls can carry light pink/white bouquet and you can have yellow daffodils! But are they available in Sept?

I was having a yellow and pink wedding! I had planned on yellow being the main colour with soft pink accents…but turns out yellow looked horrible on my bridesmaids so unfortunately I had to change colours. They are now wearing a corally pink dress and I’m still trying to have yellow accents everywhere ๐Ÿ™‚

I think it’s a great idea and looks really nice if you use soft pinks and whites with the yellow too so that it isn’t as bright.

Uhm, I was totally going to go yellow and pink, as they are my favorite colors, but ended up on orange and pink, as orange is FI’s favorite color and I thought it would be nice ro share. ๐Ÿ™‚ I think yellow and pink would be amazing!

Have you ever seen this china pattern? I have always loved it. I don’t know if it shows very well, but it has pink, red and yellow roses. It’s called “Old Country Roses” and when I saw the title of your thread, this is what immediately came to mind. I think pink and yellow are beautiful together.

Love yellow and pink! I’ve been thinking of using these colors.

@SoontobeMrsA:  You’re getting married on my birthday!!!   Love it!

I was thinking about this some more, especially after seeing the flower someone else posted…

Here are some bouquets I found with pink and yellow flowers. Daffodils are spring flowers, so I don’t think you’ll be able to get them for your September wedding, but maybe tulips and lillies together would give a similar look.

I originally wanted yellow and pink for our colors when we were going to get married in the summer.  Once we had to go for fall we had to change though.  I think the yellow/pink combination is beautiful.

I agree with the PP on their suggestions, but you’re getting married in late summer/early fall and daffodils are bright–not soft–yellow, so what about a darker pink, like fuschia or deep watermelon? It would be bright and pop-y.

The good news is you’ll have a much easier time incorporating daffodils in a Spring wedding and it’ll be cheaper!

I think pick and yellow could go really well together for a May wedding.
