Hey bees! My sister is getting married next summer the bridesmaid dresses have to be yellow, but she hasn’t selected a brand or a style yet. I know she would prefer to just choose the brand and the color and let everyone pick their own dress, but so far we haven’t been able to find any major retailers with a yellow she likes. Yellow is so tricky! We don’t like the yellow at David’s bridal and we don’t like the yellows at azazie. We are looking for a light and soft yellow as opposed to any dark or very bright/neon shades. We are open to just one style dress of the color is right.
I know my description is very subjective but I think there is some wiggle room for what she wants. If anyone has any suggestions of brands or dresses in yellow please just throw them out here. I am seeing her tomorrow so the more I can share with her, the merrier. I appreciate it in advance.

Check out : J.Crew Bridesmaid Dress line
They have some really soft yellows that she might like — it has the only shade of pale yellow I like.

I just saw an ad that Davids Bridal is releasing a new color for Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses this year and it was a soft yellow. Give it a quick google to see if that’s what you’re looking for. The dresses will probably be released soon.

Union Station – you can rent the dresses, it’s cheap. You get two sizes and wear one, then send them both back. Lot’s of different styles to choose from and they have a light/soft yellow. I think it costs bridemaids like $60…. The dresses are pretty amazing in that most of them adjust for sizing and fit all different body types!

Search yellow bridesmaid dresses on Pinterest, then do a Google image search if necessary, to see who makes them. Also do a search for yellow dresses on Shopstyle.

Tell her to check out the color “Buttercup” at Mori Lee or at Dessy. The Mori Lee collection is the more affordable of the two options, but they both have a good variety of styles. Good luck with your search for soft yellow bridesmaid dresses!

Thank you so much for all of your great suggestions. I have been having a hard time chasing down brands to suggest. I appreciate every single suggestion. I’m always open to more ideas since I have no clue what my sister will say but this is a great start!

I got mine from Dessy/Alfred Sung. There are a few pretty light yellows: buttercup, sunflower, mango, and maize.
