We invited 150 people and about 20 declined.  So that’s about 13% (I think – I’m no good at math).

Before the wedding, I could have told you for sure. But we had people who RVSP’d and SWORE they wouldn’t miss it for the world not show up (grrr!). If I had to guess now I’d say maybe 70/100 showed up?

We invited 318 and had 271 show up (something like 85% acceptance, and the vast majority were within 4 hours driving)

I don’t remember what our total invite was, somewhere in the 200 vicinity but we had 140 yes. But day of it was probably like 134; yes we had some no shows!

So roughly 70%? I’ve heard the average no is 30% of your guest list?

A lot of OOTers.

We invited 150 and ended up with about 125.  Most of the declines were out of state guests (my MIL’s friends whom she thought would surely come to the wedding but didn’t).  Only a handful of our guests declined.

hmmmm…. this is a good thread for those of us who have yet to send out std’s, let alone invites!  now I’m gonna have to find out what 30% of 196 is! LOL!

My mom said she didn’t tell the hall the total number of people who RSVPed (since she expected some no shows).  Most venues say they can accomodate up to an 5-10% plates additional, with that in mind, I wonder what final number you should give to the venue? Any suggestions.

Now I’m getting nervous!!!

Venue MAX is 200. Also, more than that and I’d get lost.

Our “list” has almost 300 (280). So we put 230 on the A list. 50 B list.

We really only want 120-150 people there. We probably won’t even get to the B list! 🙁

(Side note: Our wedding is 90% OOT–even us! It’s *almost* a destination wedding.)

My parents said they sent 150 *invites* (each with “guest” or spouse and kids). Then got 150 attendees. So they got around 50% (I think. Of course, not everyone actually has a guest.)
